The Met office have forecast warm weather over the holiday weekend, with temperatures expected to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius by Tuesday.
The temperature is expected to drop again from Wednesday onwards.

"It seems the weather in most areas will be quite good, the seas quite good, not so strong winds. But there is a small possibility in the mountain areas of small storms, but nothing special," said an official, Panayiotis Michail.Today and tomorrow temperatures will gradually increase to around 32C, which is normal for this time of year. "We are expecting more of a rise in temperature on Monday, to 33C or 34C maybe," said Michail.

He said the strong winds lately were expected to subside a little until Sunday afternoon, when they are expected to reach medium levels especially in the east coast.
