A low pressure system in the region will be bringing snow and rain in the next few days, the meteorological service reported on Monday.

On Monday afternoon the weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers in the west of the island and in the mountains.

Temperatures are set to fall to 10 degrees inland, 12 on the coast, and four degrees in the mountains.

Temperatures are set to rise to 17 degrees inland and on the coast, while in the mountains the temperature will be six degrees.

On Wednesday rain is expected across the island, while in the mountains snow is expected. The inclement weather is set to improve in the afternoon.

On Thursday, temperatures are set to rise, and weather is expected to be mild.

However, on Friday scattered showers are expected, as well as snow and sleet in the mountains. Temperatures are set to rise on Friday, as well, the meteorological service reported.
