Rain and storms have returned to Cyprus, with a senior officer of the Cyprus Meteorological Service, saying that the main feature of the weather will be lower temperatures.
The showers will however clear the dust in the atmosphere, which has been lingering for several days.On Friday the dust level rate was estimated at 70,6 micrograms per cubic metre in Limassol and 37 and 40 in other areas.
However, Kleanthis Nicolaides of the metrological department said that dust storms on the island have seen worse years.
The storms are expected to clear by Tuesday, but it will feel colder for much of next week.
