While Greece is bracing for bad weather from the storm system dubbed “Orestes,” Cyprus looks certain to emerge unscathed according to the Meteorological Service.
Orestes will be depleted by the time it comes to Cyprus, however, it is expected to bring low pressure which might lead to thunderstorms and hail after noon on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be cloudy at intervals and local rain is expected and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be 28 C inland and on the coast and 21 C in the mountains.
Thursday is also expected to be cloudy with the possibility of local rain and/or isolated thunderstorms.
