Police are warning drivers to be particularly careful because of heavy rain affecting the GSP area near Latsia and Strovolos in Nicosia.

Drivers are urged to drive at a speed below 60km/h, keep a safe distance from other vehicles and have their headlights on.

Heavy rain is also affecting the Kornos area, police said.
