Friday will be mainly fine as high pressure affects the area, though there will be increased cloud in the afternoon, while the weekend and Monday will see intervals of fine weather and cloud.

According to the early morning update issued by police, the Trooditissa -Prodromos road is closed to all vehicles because of rockfalls and mudslides.
The Prodromos-Troodos road is open only to four wheel drive cars and those equipped with snow chains.
In the Morphou district the following roads are closed because of flooded rivers and rockfalls and mudslides: Old Ayia Marina-Peristerona road and Kambos-Ayia Varvara.
The following roads open only to four wheel drive cars and those equipped with snow chains: Pedoulas-Pinewood-Kakopetria, Prodromos-Lemythou and Pedoulas-Prodromos.
The following roads are slippery: Pedoulas-Kykkos-Kambos, Kakopetria-Karvounas and Moutoulas-Pedoulas.
In the Paphos district a number of roads are closed because of flooding and rock and mud slides: the Tselefos bridge, Kelokedara-Amargeti-Natas, Nata-Palia Choletra, Nata-Episkopi, Vretsion-Pera Vas, the forest roads in the Platia Shinia area and Salamiou-Galataria.
In the Nicosia district the Palechori-Agros road and the Palechori-Askas-Alona-Polystipos-Saranta roads are slippery because of ice.
More generally police said that mud and rock slides as well as fallen trees have been reported in various locations on the road network in various parts of Cyprus particularly in the mountains and semi-mountainous areas and drivers are urged to be careful.
