Local showers, isolated thunderstorms and strong winds are on the forecast for Friday, according to the island’s Meteorology Service.

Variable, north-easterly to south-easterly winds, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, will turn moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, by early afternoon.

The sea will be slight to rough.

The temperature will rise to 22 C inland and in coastal areas and 13 C in the mountains.
