A new dust cloud from North Africa has arrived in some parts of eastern and northern Cyprus.

A yellowish-grey cloud formation had built up in the Famagusta area by lunchtime.

The dust is expected to leave the atmosphere as of tomorrow afternoon, according to weather forecasters.

All vulnerable groups, children and the elderly are urged to avoid outdoor activity until the dust has subsided.
