Rainfall in Cyprus has reached 134% of the normal levels by March 15, according to figures released by the Meteorological Service.
The average rainfall for the first 15 days of March in the government-controlled areas reached 34.6 millimetres, or 56% of the normal of the month which is set to 61.9 millimetres.The corresponding value of the first 15 days of March of 2011 was 111%.
The total rainfall from 1 October 2011 reached 584.6 millimeters, which corresponds to 134% of normal which is 437.5 millimeters.
