Snow has fallen in the holiday hotspot of Ayia Napa and surrounding villages - exactly one year to the day after the last snowfall.
There were several brief flutters which started just after 7am Friday morning.Cyprus was hit by intense weather conditions earlier this week which brought rain, snow, thunderstorms and strong winds.
A major drop in temperatures across Cyprus has also seen snowfalls and freezing conditions in the Paphos district.
Police have advised drivers to take extreme care when driving to mountain areas.
The depth of snow on Mount Olympus is 30 centimetres with 20 in Troodos square.
